The Executive Chairman of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo, has flagged off the groundbreaking ceremony for a modern world-class standard Nursery and Primary School in the Morning Star area of Aigbaka Ward–Ifoshi Ward, Ejigbo.
The project, described as a major step toward improving grassroots education infrastructure, is expected to provide a conducive learning environment for children within the council area.
Residents and parents who witnessed the ceremony applauded the initiative, describing it as the first of its kind in Ejigbo LCDA. Many commended the council leadership for its foresight and commitment to strengthening the education sector at the local level.
Community members expressed optimism that the new school, once completed, would reduce overcrowding in existing public schools and offer pupils access to modern learning facilities comparable to global standards.
The council chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing education and community development, noting that investment in children’s future remains a key pillar of his governance agenda.
