EJIGBO COUNCIL BOSS CALLS FOR COMPASSION AND PRAYERS AS RAMADAN BEGINS

Story by Iyiola Ayomide

Dear Muslim Faithful in Ejigbo,

As we begin the holy month of Ramadan, I extend my warmest greetings to all our Muslim brothers and sisters in Ejigbo LCDA. This sacred period of fasting, prayer, and self-reflection is a time to draw closer to Almighty Allah, seek His mercy, and strengthen our faith.

Ramadan is not just about abstaining from food and drink; it is a time to embody the virtues of patience, kindness, and generosity. I encourage us all to use this period to reflect on our actions, extend a helping hand to those in need, and foster unity within our community.

Let us seize this opportunity to pray for peace, prosperity, and the continued development of our LCDA, Lagos State, and Nigeria as a whole. As a government, we remain committed to ensuring an environment that allows every resident to observe their religious obligations without hindrance.

I pray that Almighty Allah accepts our fasts, rewards our good deeds, and grants us the strength to uphold the values of Islam. Wishing you all a blessed and fulfilling Ramadan.

Ramadan Kareem!
