The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has strengthened its partnership with the Nigerian Army and Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) to combat terrorist financing in the South-East region. This renewed collaboration was highlighted through two key visits by EFCC's Acting Zonal Director, Aisha Abubakar.

- *EFCC-Army Collaboration*: Abubakar met with Major General Oluyemi Thomas Olatoye, General Officer Commanding the 82 Division, Nigerian Army, to discuss enhanced synergy in fighting terrorist financing and economic crimes. She emphasized the importance of data analysis, forensics, and financial analysis tools in this effort.
- *EFCC-NIS Partnership*: Abubakar also visited Comptroller Nkechi Enobong Enete of the NIS Enugu Command, securing assurance of support and cooperation in fighting corruption and economic crimes. Enete stressed the need for inter-agency collaboration to succeed in this mission .
