Representing the State Commander, Mrs. Abieyuwa Ikhidero, Mr. Sambo Wariebi, Head of the Public Enlightenment Unit, emphasized the importance of community awareness in combating human trafficking. He urged residents to remain vigilant and report suspected cases to NAPTIP, either in person or through official channels.

The campaign team distributed information, education, and communication materials to raise public awareness and encourage community participation. This initiative aims to empower the community to fight human trafficking and related crimes.

Through interactions with residents, NAPTIP hopes to prevent these crimes and protect vulnerable populations. The Bayelsa State Command's efforts demonstrate its commitment to fighting human trafficking and creating a safer society.

Community members were encouraged to take ownership of the issue and collaborate with NAPTIP to combat human trafficking. The agency's ongoing efforts to raise awareness and educate the public are crucial in the fight against human trafficking.

This campaign is part of NAPTIP's broader strategy to combat human trafficking in Bayelsa State, underscoring the agency's dedication to protecting citizens and promoting a safer community.
